AOKP Change logs:

  • Build 1 - Alpha Test

    • JELLYBEAN!

  • Milestone 6

    • Added fix for keyboard lighting issues.
    • Tried to add in the .com/www. key to work with AOKP, did not go well. So that is not in the build.
    • MMS is working 100% for Sprint. If you have other carriers, please check the forums for APN/MCC/MNC settings.
    • Setup the default for 160 char split SMS messages as well as message numbering.
    • Phantom Voicemail fix is in, the settings have changed a bit though as well as their wording. Default is to have the voicemails disabled.

  • Build 40

    • Nothing on the device specific end. 

  • Build 39

    • We are sticking with the stock kernel. Thank you all for your feedback. If you'd like to try others, you are more than welcome.
    • This does not have Linaro Optimizations.
    • OI File Manager added for you lazy your convenience. 
    • Apollo Music Player added as well.

    • I believe I got it all this time...
      • Timeouts work

    • The capacitive key toggle is not yet added. You may see epic parts, but you will not be able to toggle it yet. I have to re-write some of the extension they used.

    • Added in APNs from CM9. Should be easier if you aren't on Sprint.

  • Build 34

    • Removed toggles for non working "LTE" and "Torch" (If you get a systemUI FC, reset your toggles)
    • List of extra add-ons: Here (I'm sure you can read that... Somewhat)
    • Added latest kernel changes from CM9 team. (1.2GHz OC ability + No option to undervolt)
    • Lowered dalvik.vm.heapsize to 92 and dalvik.vm.heapgrowthlimit to 32 as per suggestion. (alot more ram)
    • APNs are good, build number updates... all looks intact.

  • Build 33

    • Added toggles for 3G/2G/Data/Etc!
      • Only thing is, 4G is there, but the toggle does not work.
        • (Upstream issue)
    • Previous kernel fix listed below is integrated in, no need to flash over.
    • New mirror for downloads! Thank you Marcus!
    • I messed up the APNs again. Fix here.
    • Having issues with CPU sticking at 200mhz?

      • With that being said, we are taking a closer look at what causes such at thing. I might include a script in the next build to auto apply that fix above. If I feel like it. lol.

    How much free RAM would a typical installation of this ROM have on the Epic?
